Tax Policy
You agree that you as buyer and we as seller are responsible for determining the amount of sales, use or other taxes that you may owe as a result of your Marketplace purchase. You also agree that as seller we are responsible to collect, to report and to remit any sales, use or other taxes as may be required under applicable law. You agree (a) that Rakuten.com has no responsibility to collect, report or remit sales, use or any other applicable taxes in connection with your purchase, and (b) to fully indemnify, defend and hold Rakuten.com harmless from any and all claims, demands, damages, awards, fines, costs, expenses and liability in any way associated with foregoing. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Rakuten.com currently automatically charges sales tax with respect to any marketplace products shipped to California.
All orders are processed and shipped within 1-2 business days. Some shipments may require signature on arrival. We do not currently ship to PO Boxes, APO Boxes, or FPO Boxes. We use a variety of shippers, some of whom do not allow delivery to PO Boxes. To prevent the need to cancel your order after it has been placed, we do not allow orders to ship to any PO Boxes for any orders.
RA# is required for all returns. Email us or call us to request one. *Item(s) presented for return must be in resellable, unworn & original condition with all warranty papers, cases and with white security sticker attached. Once you choose to remove the white security sticker - eyewear is considered used and can not be accepted for return. Request RA within 14 days. Ship an item within 3 days after RA is issued. We DO NOT sell used eyewear and WON'T accept used eyewear for return. Shipping fees are not refundable. RESTOCKING FEE OF $9 WILL BE CHARGED FOR ALL RETURNS. Please allow 8 business days to process a refund. Customers are responsible for shipping an item to our facility. Use a traceable method of shipment for returns. We can not be responsible for any unauthorized returns or lost in transit returns.
